In an attempt to find out what online shoppers really think of the couriers that deliver their packages, Which? asked 10,500 members of the UK public to tell them about their experiences of shopping online – from browsing to delivery.
We are proud to have been named as the top delivery company in this research and it’s down to the tireless dedication and support of all our couriers and staff that this fantastic result has been achieved. It is also an indication of the impact delivery convenience such as same day nominated 1-hour window is having on the digital purchasing experience.
There’s no denying that we live in an age of convenience. People are now able to buy almost anything online, from the comfort of their own homes, 24 hours a day and as a result, delivery is becoming less about speed and more about convenience – it needs to fit seamlessly around people’s busy lives. The “sorry we missed you” card simply isn’t good enough anymore, and the logistics industry is going to have to pull out all the stops to keep pace with customers’ fast-changing wants and needs.
We understand that offering a smooth and convenient delivery service can be make or break for many businesses; and with IMRG predicting that by 2025, we will be placing orders for 2.7 billion parcels a year – more than double the 1.3 billion being delivered this year – this is now truer than ever.
